QUESTION: What Is Select My eBook?
ANSWER: Select My eBook is an online reward selection program that provides eBook eGift Card recipients access to an exclusive collection of eBooks, featuring over 2,000 titles from which they can choose, and representing a virtual library they can browse to find just what they are looking for.  The extensive eBook compilation includes classics such as Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, Mark Twain’s Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, the works of William Shakespeare, and thousands more.  Each title is available in three eBook formats (ePub, Kindle Mobi and HTML) to accommodate a variety of mobile devices like Kindle, Nook, iPad, iPod, iPhone, Google Android, PC and Mac.  Additionally we provide step-by-step instruction guides customized for each device, which provide a user-friendly experience for every customer.

QUESTION: What is an eBook?
ANSWER: An e-book is a digitally expressed narrative containing text and other media. Many e-books are electronic versions of printed books; increasingly authors and content creators are creating e-books with no print analogues.  Most current e-books exist as packages that can be read on computing devices using a browser-based application or on a dedicated e-reader device.

QUESTION: How Do I Activate My eBook Code?

QUESTION: What If My Activation Code Doesn’t Work?

ANSWER: Most times, if your activation code is not working it is either because (1) it's being entered in the wrong place (this is the issue about 33% of the time), (2) it's not getting typed correctly (this is the issue about 50% of the time), or (3) because it’s already been activated by the customer (this is the issue about 15% of the time). Only about 2% of the time, is there actually an issue. So, if your code is not working, first, please double check that you're on the right page. You should be activating your code on our Activation Page. Then double check to make sure you're typing in the correct Select My eBook code. You'll find an example of how the code should look on the Activation Page. If you've checked both of those, and are still receiving an error, then please visit our Member Support page, just make sure you haven't already activated your code, and are seeing the "You've Already Activated This Code" message.

QUESTIONI Have Activated My Code, But Haven't Received My Activation Confirmation Email Yet. 
ANSWER: If you've activated your Select My eBook code, you should receive an email from Select My eBook within 2-3 hours of your activation that will contain your confirmation, and instructions for beginning the jewelry selection process.. That email will come from fulfillment@selectmyebook.com. Please make sure your email is accepting emails from that address, and that you check your SPAM folder if your activation confirmation email does not arrive within 3 hours after your activation.


QUESTION: Am I Able to Sell, Re-Sell, Distribute, or Publicize These eBooks? 
ANSWER:  To the fullest extent that is permitted or protected by law, by copyright, or by contract, SelectMyeBook asserts the proprietary and protected interests of material on the SelectMyeBook website.  Such materials may not be sold, re-sold, distributed, published, or publicized.  The material on the SelectMyeBook website is intended only for the reward recipient, and only for your personal use.  As such, you may not download material from SelectMyeBooks for the purpose of selling, re-selling, distributing, publishing, or publicizing it via a blog, website, social media account, or any other channel.  Should you have a specific question regarding our intellectual property policy, we suggest you contact Customer Support.

ANSWER: Yes. You will not download a computer virus or any other malicious file when you download eBooks from our site. 

QUESTION: How Long Will it Take To Download an eBook? 
ANSWER: The download time depends on the size of the eBook you order and the speed of your internet connection. Download times for an average-sized eBook according to connection speed vary between 2 seconds and 2 minutes depending on your internet connection.

ANSWER: That depends on your Operating System and if you would like to read your eBooks on your PC or on a hand held device.


QUESTION: Do You Offer eBooks in Audio Format?
ANSWER: Select My eBook does not currently offer audio eBooks.  The eBooks offered on the Select My eBook website are only available in text format. Each eBook title we offer is available in three eBook formats (ePub, Kindle Mobi and HTML) to accommodate a variety of mobile devices like Kindle, Nook, iPad, iPod, iPhone, Google Android, PC and Mac.

: Do I Need to Be Online to Read eBooks?
ANSWER: No, you do not need to be online to read eBooks. After the eBook is downloaded you can disconnect from the network and read it offline.

Select My eBook never called you.  Select My eBook is simply an online reward selection program that many businesses use to promote their programs.  Often businesses give Select My eBook rewards away with other sales.  Someone from one of those businesses may have called you, may have charged you, and may have told you that you would receive something, but it was not anyone from Select My eBook.  So, if you have a complaint or concern that what you thought you were getting is not what you believe you got, then you should direct your contact to the people who gave you Shopping eCard code to begin with. They are responsible for what they said to you. That all said, your reward is a great reward that will help you save money - and we'd be delighted to help you do so.

QUESTION: I Want to Cancel/Stop Billing Me
ANSWER: If you are looking to cancel something, to get a refund, or to inquire about billing, then you are contacting the wrong company. Please remember, Select My eBook does not do any sales. Select My eBook never called you.  Select My eBook is simply an online reward selection program that many businesses use to promote their programs.  So, if you are dissatisfied with something you may have purchased, or have a complaint, or want to cancel, or want a refund, then you must contact the people who sold you whatever it is you want to cancel. That is not Select My eBook.

QUESTION: I'm Having Technical Difficulties with my eReader?
ANSWER: You've indicated you are having some technical difficulties with your eReader. As you can imagine, with hundreds of different varieties of eReaders available, and thousands of ways to configure those eReaders, we here at Select My eBook, really cannot provide outsourced technical support for eReaders. Select My eBook is an eBook download website. We just provide eBooks. Each eBook we provide is available three formats, which are designed for the highest level of compatibility with over 99% of eReaders, but as such we cannot guarantee that every eBook will be compatible with every eReader, based on settings, new designs, new software, etc. So, if you have an eReader related question, contacting Select My eBook is not the best way to get it resolved. We would recommend you please refer to the technical documentation and web support materials associated with that reader, or contact that eReader's Customer Service department for assistance. QUESTION: Can I Have Multiple Activation Codes?
ANSWER: Yes you can have multiple activation codes, and you can receive credit for all of them. To redeem any additional reward codes you may have, you would follow the same steps as you did when you initially redeemed a code. Please be sure to provide the same email address, so that way all your available downloads will be within one account for you.
